President Uhuru Kenyatta says that Kenya will not be destabilised by the ICC trials facing him and his deputy William Ruto.

President Uhuru Kenyatta has said that Kenya will not be destabilised by the International Criminal Court trials facing him and his deputy William Ruto.

He assured the court of the country’s cooperation until the end of the trials saying that they are innocent and would be acquitted by the court, Daily Nation reports.

The President also rejected calls for a referendum by several leaders to amend the Constitution saying it would deter development in the country and also interfere with the laws that were passed by Kenyans.
